About our school
Clachan Primary School is situated in the village of Clachan, which is adjacent to the main Campbeltown – Glasgow road, 11 miles south-west of Tarbert and 28 miles north of Campbeltown. In this rural setting, the school is not considered as a separate entity, but as an integral part of a thriving and active community.
We are an Eco school and have achieved 5 Green flags, we also practice teaching that goes beyond the four walls of the school. We are very fortunate to have poly tunnels in our playground, here we grow various food that are used in our lunches!
